National Geographic Launches Plan It Green for iPhone[11.24.09]

National Geographic and mobile publisher I-Play have released Plan It Green, an ecology-themed simulation title for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Originally released for PC platforms, Plan It Green challenges players to turn a declining industrial town into a sustainable community by introducing green agriculture, eco-friendly homes, and environmentally clean jobs.

The game includes a single-player campaign mode in which eight neighborhoods must receive green makeovers. Players will face new challenges and increasing difficulty throughout Plan It Green's 45 levels.

New to the iPhone version of Plan It Green is a head-to-head challenge mode, in which two players compete to develop a district over the course of 20 game days. Other iPhone-exclusive features include a friend notification system and Scoreloop leaderboards.
